oooh re: those tv show questions, I am predictably going to request Turn and/or Black Sails, whichever you feel like right now! :P

• my all-time ultimate fave character: Flint, hands down. What emotions that man gives me and what an amazing character!
  
• a character I didn’t used to like but now do: Charles Vane! Talk about a turn around. I despised him and then we got to the end of season 2 and I was like oh no I like him now
• a character I used to like but now don’t: …damn you, Billy. You were such a proper pirate and then you ruined it all. I still like early Billy, though.
• a character I’m indifferent about: I honestly don’t think I have one! I have strong feelings whether positive or negative about everyone 
• a character who deserved better: MADI. Madi Madi Madi. I have less positive feelings toward Silver than most people by the end because while Flint gets Thomas back due to Silver’s machinations, Madi gets…just nothing really. She deserved her revolution.
• a ship I’ve never been able to get into: I’m fascinated by Silver and Flint’s relationship, but Thomas is Too Amazing for me to be able to get into Silverflint romantically
• a ship I’ve never been able to get over: Flinthamilton like. The end of the show left me sobbing I can’t deal. UNBURY YOUR GAYS that never happens
• a cute, low-key ship: Maxanne! Cuties. 
• an unpopular ship but I still enjoyed it: Hmm I don’t think I have one? 
• a ship that was totally wrong and never should have happened: Ugh, coulda done without Rogers and Eleanor tbh. She deserved better and he’s a shit 
• my favourite storyline/moment: There’s?? One billion?? Moments?? But one is def Flint’s whole speech to Silver in the finale about “there is freedom in the dark, once you have illuminated it” like MY GOD slay me. Also just like. The ENTIRE attack on Charleston and Flint’s trial. Iconic. 
• a storyline that never should have been written: Did they REALLY have to kill DeGroot in the end? 
• my first thoughts on the show: Hmm. Pirates. I should like this. What if it messes up my own pirate story writing process. It’s Starz there’s gonna be too much sex and violence.
• my thoughts now: A LOT OF HISTORICALLY ACCURATE PIRATE THINGS and characters who are THE BEST please everyone on earth watch this show
