i can’t even believe the inscription was an actual thing that flint of all people who punched a guy to death in s1 and broke every stereotype started all of this for a man for thomas who is actually alive alive and they got reunited and hugged and did the forehead touch and kissed in broad daylight the contrast with their first kiss which was so gentle and beautiful (there is discovery –possibility–freedom in the dark and thomas showed him loving a man was not something he should be ashamed of and their love actually made him believe that thomas and their relationship changed james’ world for good–for the better (‘once someone has illuminated it’) i cannot i have so many feels look at them there was development in their relationship and thomas has like 30 minutes screentime his death and ‘resurrection’ is literally the birth and death of captain flint
