Abigail Ashe: when the quill is mightier than the sword. A little wish fulfillment of mine, that she accompanied her journal. I might work on this a little more, the photo isn’t great lighting. I’m happy with my Abigail. The other 2 were added with only clothing refs, so more sketchy.
Eta: Better picture – sometimes I’m too impatient to wait for daylight. This was about 6 hours over 3 days.

Imagine how confused Abigail must have been expecting to meet the most brutal and dangerous pirate in the Bahamas and being instead faced with this guy who can’t even say his own name without nearly bursting into tears

I remember music in her home. It was always so warm there, so lovely. And I remember when I would visit there with Mother and Father, how she would lean down so her face was very near mine and she’d smile. I remember hoping I’d be so beautiful one day.
