Okay I love this scene and I want to wax lyrical about it for a mo.

Because it’s so gentle.

So often in media, when (on those rare occasions) you do see two men kiss, it can be rough, or aggressive, or fiercely passionate. Which is fine, depending on the circumstances (although sometimes it is jarring if the intensity of the kiss is disproportionate to the scene.)

But this is so soft and warm and lovely.

And they easily could have played it different. We’ve seen the badass that James can be, the strength and violence he has in him. They so easily could have turned this into something fierce, something possessive and manly.

But it’s not. It’s gentle and slow and full of joy and relief. And that’s such a wonderful thing to see in a series that is so often full of pain and blood and violence.

I just love this scene a lot okay?

I eventually sat my ass down and drew, stuck on the soundtrack to Bahubali and strangely James McGraw ended up dancing… I wanted the whole blowing in the wind look. New sketchbook and it’s not great paper. Ah well, we live and learn. Kinda works. I enjoyed doing it, which is all that matters 😉

I can’t even chose one of them because I’m deeply in love with their differences, pros and cons, sharp angles.

I appreciate Anne for her fierce along with loyalty and how she keeps a sensitive, faithful girl inside violating and scaring woman.

I admire Madi and Eleanor for taking responsibility and putting the claim of their lives before their own wishes. Though they seemed completely different people, now I notice a lot of similarities between them. With a shadow of a doubt I BELIEVE they could be the best caring sisters.

I adore Miranda. I can’t really claim the reason, but her character seems so unic in this violent show where everyone is somehow trying to hit her own benefit. Miranda was just sharing and caring and loving both her husband and James without any jealousy or secrets. She was ready to leave everything behind and lock herself near James, being mother and sister and lover and EVERYTHING to him. And, after all of that, still being such a clever and inspiring and kind woman.

So, just love, no shame.
