#god god god when she looks at that clock and suddenly REALIZES#and it’s like for a moment time just completely stops and history is being rewritten with this new perspective she has and just#everything is changing in this one single minute…everything she understood…and her entire world has to shift to make room#for this new thing she now understands to be true#look at how one GLIMPSE of something can alter an entire story…can make what was once ‘truth’ merely an illusion#what else is lurking between the lines? what else is there that if only we KNEW…our lives would be irrevocably changed?#I feel like this moment is an homage to the unseen…to what has been unspoken and covered up#and to the way the world can shake when those hidden things are finally brought into the light#SO BRILLIANT#so powerful and /devastating/ and to this day I haven’t been able to sort out all of my feelings#/GOD/#she and her story are so unbelievably important

#miranda hamilton #is a constant emotion#god i love how consistent she is in her beliefs#that she rejects the idea that the purest form of love is suffering#that the joys of the body and the material world are no less godly for being material#just look at her face when she’s reciting#she’s somewhere else entirely while she’s doing that#where are you miranda my love#i genuinely don’t even think she’s set out to seduce pastor lambrick#it just sort of happens as a result of the way she inhabits the world#alllllllso she 100000000% seduced some lady with this#come on we all know it’s true #bi miranda hamilton 2kINFINITY#i also just really love the ways she and james are alike in this#the way they inhabit their bodies and the world contrasted against the way they can get lost in their heads#i love her your honor#also lbr miranda is also one million percent the person who would cheerfully start scripture fights with bigots#t.ham would eviscerate people by dismantling their logic on fallacies and whatnot#james doesn’t give a fuck he’ll just punch or ignore the asshole#but miranda would be implacable about meeting them on their terms#and then making that battlefield her own #ANYWAY I LOVE HER IS THE POINT (tags by @sidewaystime)
