these people know their lives are about to change. they know they’ll need to fight to survive, but i will not go before them and argue to have that fight all at once, and risk losing everything all at once – unless i am certain that fight can be won.

#can u imagine silver staying up all night #battling with himself bc flint trusted him with the most intimate parts of his past #and yet he couldn’t give back in equal measure #poor thing was so stressed out he couldnt let go even though flint did bc he didnt press the issue again #even though he still couldnt give him anything worthwhile he just had to make sure flint didnt resent him for it #and flint didnt. despite his nature and need to fully understand the person he relies on he let go of the issue completely #[laughs hysterically]#tell me thats not love i dare u @captain-flint
