Originally inspired by @ellelan’s beautiful edit and the words “seduction of Dufresne” that kept haunting me for a long time. In the end this turned out a bit darker and does not really convey the brilliance and nuances how Flint played Dufresne in that sequence, but I am quite happy with the art. I wanted to practise lighting and storytelling 😀
(Flint does not literally offer his helping hand, but I thought it made a cool image. Flint also reminded me of a hawk perching when he was bending over to observe
those books, so that’s the reason for those hawk additions…)
A real quickie of modern AU Anne and Max. In my mind I definitely have this kind of modern-ish AU in some unspecified warm semi-Mediterranean country where the characters of Black Sails live happily.
