I feel I’ve been lucky to show the variations in my skill. I’m one of those people who barely look in a mirror and when I do, I quickly run past it. You know, the exterior is one thing, but I love intellect. I love strong people who have something to say, a thought process. I think it’s important to be well-informed and to stand your ground.

I think fashion is a lot of fun. I love clothes. More than fashion or brand labels, I love design. I love the thought that people put into clothes. I love when clothes make cultural statements and I think personal style is really cool. I also freely recognize that fashion should be a hobby.

In this business, fame lasts for a second. You can be blown up and be blown down. People keep losing interest in faces because new ones come along every single second. I’m one at the moment. Tomorrow I won’t be. That’s cool. I’m not saying that when it does end, I’ll be like, “Yay! It’s ending.” But I’ll move on and do something else because that’s what has to be done. It’s about survival. If you’re sad about it, then you’re in the wrong job.
