The most genius thing I did was when I decided I wanted to make a career out of acting, I stayed very quiet about it. I was still in the school plays, and I did ads and short films, but I remember thinking to myself, ‘This is the love of your life, and if someone deters you it’ll break your heart’. So, I kept it to myself until I knew it would really be possible, because I didn’t want anyone to tell me I couldn’t.
